Holiday Diary - Day 40

Today we drove from Oswestry to Aberystwyth stopping at Welshpool and Machynllech. Welshpool and Machynllech are just a couple of the places connected with Owain Glyndwr, the original Prince of Wales, and, since the Bywaters are somehow related to him, Sue thought that Allyn and his cousins might like to know about him. One end of Glyndwr's Way is in Welshpool and the first Welsh parliament was held in Machynllech.

Here are some of the photos we took today.

The rugged mountains seem to have been replaced by rolling hills

Sue liked the look of this waterwheel so took a photo of it

I'm hoping that Auto-Awesome will stitch the above photos together for another panoramic shot.

Tomorrow we have another steam train to catch before driving down to Carmarthen.
