The Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
I think that the love of money and possessions is the biggest problem in the world today. We live in a world where politicians vote to give themselves 11+% salary increases while trying to prevent others from getting 2.5% increases. We live in a world where 1% of the population is in control of 99% of the wealth (and quite a large portion of the 99% are trying their hardest to be part of the 1%).
People complain about "Global Warming" and petrol prices but if we weren't so in love with money and possessions these other things would be a problem at all.
It's just what I think.
